Free comic strip template for kids

Here’s a free comic strip template for kids. If your child loves to draw and reads comics such as Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts, Zits, and Baby Blues, perhaps they’ll enjoy making their own comic strips. Let your child’s imagination run wild with these free downloadable comic strip templates. There’s four template in all, and they’re 13″ x 4″ in size, the standard comic strip dimensions.

In order to download the template, simply click on the template you like, and then right-click on the larger version and click “Save-As.”
Once you’ve saved the template to your computer, print them as many times as you want. If you have an 11″ x 17″ printer, you can print this at 100% scale. If you have a printer that prints on 8.5″ x 11″ letter paper, you’ll need to either scale to fit, or print the template across 2 pages.
If your child is computer savvy, they may also enjoy using these templates right on the computer, using a program like Adobe Photoshop or the open-source software, Gimp.

These comic strip templates are free for personal and commercial use under the Creative Commons Attribution License, and were created by Tim van de Vall. Tim is the children’s book author of The Monkey Hole and the cartoonist of The Adventures of Chartwell.
