Connect the dots to reveal the picture of the ground hog in this exciting Groundhog Day extreme difficulty dot-to-dot. Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow? Let your kids decide!

Instructions:

The day before Groundhog Day, hand the Groundhog Day dot-to-dot to your kids to complete. Once your students have finished connecting the dots, ask to them to draw some additional details on the page and read them the following poem:

Six more weeks of winter or spring, which will it be?

If you think winter is over and spring is near,

Then Punxsutawney Phil will say the coast is clear.

Draw clouds in the sky and flowers blooming,

To show winter is no longer looming.

But if you think winter will stick around,

Draw a sun and shadow,

to send Punxsutawney Phil back underground.

There are 453 dots to connect in this dot-to-dot, keeping your students busy for quite some time! Include this fun and challenging activity in a lesson about A, B, and C.
