Question: What is the order of the planets in the Solar System?
Answer: The planets in the Solar System are arranged in the following order: Starting with the planet closest to the sun, we have Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
In 2006, Pluto was demoted from “planet” status to “dwarf planet” status. This leaves us with eight planets instead of nine.
