If your students need to memorize the thirteen colonies for an upcoming test or quiz, download this free original thirteen colonies printable.
Back when I was in elementary school, one of my favorite parts of social studies was learning about colonial times in North America. In those turbulent times, our nation’s spirit was forged, culminating in the creation of the Declaration of Independence, the Revolutionary War, and ultimately victory against all odds. To this day, I remain fascinated by this adventurous struggle.
The original thirteen colonies printable comes in both color and black and white. The color one’s nice if you want to print it out on a large sheet of paper and hang on the wall of your classroom. The black and white version’s better if you need to print a bunch of these as handouts. At the bottom of each list is an illustration of the American bald eagle.
