Pirate Coloring Pages – Characters
A few characters you can print: The Captain, the Pirate Lass, and the Pirate Lad.
The Captain

The captain is a weathered rogue from the Golden Age of Piracy. With bloodcurdling insults and a trusty cutlass, he conquers his enemies and the Seven Seas! (What are the Seven Seas, actually? I’m going to look it up. Ah! Interesting. Apparently the Seven Seas have changed over time. Have a look for yourself on Wikipedia.)
The Pirate Lass

This brave pirate pre-teen has a dapper spirit and is skilled with the rapier. With a jump-lunge she strikes wicked foes throughout the Caribbean!
The Pirate Lad

The pirate lad is a sharp-witted youth of about 10 years of age. He aspires to be a famous pirate captain one day, and is on the lookout for a tropical island to claim as his own!

After a long hike across the rocks by the shore, this pirate is enjoying a refreshing swig of homemade Gatorade. By carefully following the instructions on the side of the do-it-yourself Gatorade powder keg, this pirate’s electrolytes are perfectly restored, and he can continue on his adventure, undaunted. (This post was not sponsored by Gatorade, unfortunately.) (On a complete tangent, did you know that people and animals with rabies are terrified of drinking water? It’s bizarre, and true!)

Forget gout, this pirate’s foot problems are caused by a cantankerous crustacean! (To learn more about gout, also known as the rich man’s disease, talk to your podiatrist! To learn more about crustaceans, read a book about crustaceans.)

Desperately seeking to quench his thirst, the marooned pirate reaches for the fruit of the Cocos nucifera tree. David Attenborough is hiding in the bushes, filming the event, but does not offer the pirate any of his water.

Shiver me timbers, this pirate’s shivering with fright! What terrifying apparition did he glimpse in the dark corridor shadows? The ghost of Blackbeard? The ancient specter of Davy Jones?

Pirate Coloring Pages – Locations
Now for some exotic pirate locations to color:

An island surrounded by sharks. There may not be food or running water, but at least the view is magnificent!

An old 17th or 18th century harbor. Bring it to life with your crayons, markers, and coloring pencils!

A treasure cave that would make Scrooge McDuck’s eyes turn to dollar signs. Lots of gold, ready to be colored!

Last but not least, the Captain’s cabin. Here the captain studies his charts, rests, and stares aimlessly out the window whenever he’s lost.
Thank you for visiting Tim’s Printables! I hope you enjoyed these free printable pirate coloring sheets.
