This printable comic strip template can be used by anyone who wants to make a comic strip. Whether you’re a professional cartoonist, new to the industry, or just enjoy doodling, this comic strip template is a convenient way to skip the tedious step of measuring out panels. There’s four templates in all: a one panel template, a two panel template, a three panel template, and a four panel template. The templates were built in Adobe Illustrator, and all the panels are perfectly spaced using the Illustrator alignment tool. The panel divisions are 1/4 inch wide, and the blank comic strips are 13″ x 4″, the standard newspaper strip size, the same dimensions as comic strips such as Dilbert, Foxtrot, Calvin and Hobbes, and Peanuts.
Simply click on the image to see the original high resolution format, and then right-click and press “Save-As” to download the file to your computer. If you have a printer that prints up to tabloid size, 11” x 17”, then you’ll be able to print these out at full scale, 13” x 4”. If not, you can press “Scale to fit” to fit the blank comic template onto an 8.5” x 11” page.
