King Tut ruled as pharaoh of Ancient Egypt from 1332 BCE to 1323 BCE. He died young, at the age of 18 or 19. In 1922, his tomb was discovered by archeologist Howard Carter. King Tut’s death mask remains one of the most well-known Egyptian artifacts.
