Print a free winter acrostic poem template, and let your kids write about the winter season. There are two winter acrostic poem templates available to download. The first one is a hand drawn template of a snowman with the word “Winter” on his body. The second template contains a clip art image of two penguins playing in the snow. Both can be printed in both color and black and white. This activity may also be useful for elementary and middle school language arts teachers.
Now that the weather’s getting colder, it’s nice to spend some more time indoors. While it may be tempting to let the kids escape into the digital worlds within their consoles, tablets and mobile devices, perhaps it’s better for them to spend time with something a bit more tangible. Turn on your printer, print a few winter-themed activity sheets from Tim’s Printables, and allow your kids to use their own creativity to entertain themselves.
Each free acrostic poem template can be downloaded as a 1000×772 pixel jpeg file.
